Dean was looking for a sweater with a large cable down the front, completely reversible, seamless and unisex.  Knit with 100% wool.  Thank you to my friend Bobbi Kralka who helped me pick the perfect cable pattern.

Here is the video feed from Sask Fashion Week's Friday Finale with Dean's Collection at the 17 minute mark.  So unbelievable, a must see!!  You can see the items I knit for Dean walk down the runway.
This year I have been collaborating with designer Dean Renwick for Sask Fashion Week.  Here is a clip that was on Global News where Dean talks about what he is brining to the show and he mentions me, when talking about the items I have knit for him.

CBC's Future 40 Under 40 - 2015

Picture

I was so grateful and humbled to have been nominated for CBC's Future 40 Under 40.  Anglea did a nice write up for me on the work I do for the wool industry, for my business and fellow makers in the handmade community. I feel very honoured and appreciative <3

Spin-Off Summer 2014

One of my spindle pictures was used for the Fibre from Around the Globe Spin-a-long article on pg.4 of the Summer 2014 edition of Spin-Off magazine.  They said that my picture had them itching to start spinning.  The kit included Yak, Alpaca, Falkland and English wools.

Sheep Shape

Picture
I was lucky enough to be able to judge my first wool show  in Drake Saskatchewan at their annual Sheep Show and Exhibition in 2012.  I was on the cover of "Sheep Shape, which is a quarterly magazine published by the Saskatchewan Sheep Development Board and there was an article written about the show by my friend Val Fiddler.  You can read all about it here

Its Our Nature

Picture
I had a couple items in the "Its Our Nature" show which travelled around Saskatchewan in 2011.  My socks were knit from handspun BFL which I dyed with Kool-Aid.  The doily is also handspun and hand-dyed with Gaywool dyes.
